Belt dimensions
Only choose the length and width (usable width) of belt as big as necessary (usable width). Bigger belt dimensions mostly result in higher prices.
Belt speed
Only choose band speed as fast as needed. Higher band speed cause faster wear and tear. A bearing that rotates 1000 times per minute has a better service life than a bearing that rotates 1500 times per minute.
Drive versions
Choose your drive version wisely. There are pros and cons for every version. A 24-Volt-drive can be controlled very easily but tends to heat up faster and needs a power supply unit as opposed to three phase drives or AC motors.
